Guillermo Jiménez

Professor Jimenez collaborates with CIDS as a researcher. His research interests focus on public law and, especially, on the institutions that make up the executive branch of government, combining legal analysis with institutional and political theory. His doctoral research focused on the role of the Comptroller General in the Chilean administrative justice regime, using a socio-legal methodology. Recently, he has also carried out empirical work in the context of judicial proceedings for interdiction due to dementia as a co-researcher in a Fondecyt project on the rights of persons with disabilities.
