Mariana Zúñiga

Mariana works on issues related to cultural geography and feminist geography. She has experience in qualitative methodologies and field work with communities. Her bachelor´s thesis focuses on the urban shadows of street prostitution, addressing issues and repercussions of and among socio-territorial agents. She was invited to present an article of the same research at the XVI Geography Colloquium “Urban and touristic processes in post-pandemic scenarios. Visions on two continents” held in Malaga, Spain. Currently, she is working on a research linked to postmodernist and posthumanist geography currents, which address the processes of production of territories.
